This week’s artwork is stunning on many levels—first, it delivers a great wow of color in hearty Cocoa, warm Sunset, and crisp Heavenly Blue. I haven’t seen these colors together much, but I think the result is dramatic and gorgeous, and the contrast is ideal for the two-color embossing technique showcased today.

Heart 2 Heart Challenge

My first ever attempt to doing one of the H2H online challenges. Here is my contribution to the January 10, 2011 challenge. The challenge was to use the new colours Pear, and Sky, Colonial White with a touch of Sorbet if you wanted.

This card pattern was based on Geometric from our Wishes How To Book

I used the Cuttlebug for the first time as well. For those who know me know how long that has sat here before this time LOL.

I am going to work on taking better pictures in the future :)

I would like to apologize to my followers for my disappearance from this blog. Since going back to work full time I am still figuring out how to effectively manage my time.

It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!!

Only 3 more weeks here and the kids are back to school. In that time we have swimming, Sleep away camp for Alex and Hockey Camp for Alex and Connor. I realized I had neglected to do up their school pages from last year so I started with them doing their signature pages.

This is a page (and the are 3 more along the same idea for each child although the other kids have a Junior and Senior Kindergarten Strip) I created 5 years ago after seeing something similar in a magazine. I love watching their handwriting evolve.

I hope to work on their pages this week for last year so we are 'caught' up. Maybe even get a preschool page done for Hannah!

I'll admit it.. I've been struggling... Wanted to share something super fantastic with you all since I haven't posted in ages.

I just couldn't do it. No inspiration, mojo, creative juices, whatever you might call it.

So I took this layout I created for a swap and I added pictures. Just looking at these pictures from the cabin made me slow down, take a breath and just RELAX.

The journalling in the pocket says "nothing is more peaceful or soul restoring than sitting at sunset or sunrise and just drinking in God's Wonder"

My Daughter LOVES Roller Coasters!!

Only 3 years old and having a blast. She is sure going to be fun watching grow up!
We took all the kids to Canada's Wonderland for a year end blow out.. thanks to really cheap tickets through Music For Young Children day at the park. This was the only roller coaster that she was big enough for but she says she wants to go on the Behemoth OH BOY!!!!

My Apologies

On Thursday we had a bad thunderstorm in my area and the church next door was hit by lightning. Since then we have been without internet service and are hoping to have that recitfied today.

Here is a layout that we created at Regionals in Detroit last September using colour ready alphabets. The title was inked and stamped to match the layout. You can do just about anything with these alphabets!

Here is a layout I did using the Sassy
Strands in yellow for the Lion's Mane.

You could make fuzzy flowers, stems, trees. Or use the Sassy Strands to wrap around a card or tie a mini album together to add that extra pizazz of colour.

Well I've jumped on the blogging bandwagon. I started this blog to share with you on a more regular basis my artwork and all that I love about CTMH. I have been a consultant for just over a year now and felt this was a logical next step for me to share what I love.
